What Is Live Surge?
A Live Surge is a real-time review session hosted by a curator. Artists submit tracks, the curator plays and reacts to them live, and the community watches and participates together.
What is this?
Think of it as a live reaction stream focused entirely on music discovery. Curators review queued submissions, give feedback, and sometimes favorite tracks that stand out.
Why it matters
A live review puts your music in front of an engaged, attentive audience — not a passive scroll. A favorite from a curator can jumpstart your track's momentum on the charts.
How to use it
- Find a session on the Live Surges page or on a curator's profile.
- Submit your track — choose a tier based on the session's pricing and your goals.
- Join the session live and engage with the community.
- Respond to feedback and use it to improve future submissions.
Submission tiers
Sessions may offer tiers like Standard (free or base queue), Priority (moved up in queue), Express (played within the session), and Headliner (guaranteed immediate play). Higher tiers cost more but reduce wait time.
What to do next
Read Preparing for a Review before you submit, and Priority vs Express vs Headliner to pick the right tier.
